Ham & Turnip Green Soup

Ingredients
12 cups chicken broth6 cups water1 large onion, diced32 oz (2lb) leftover baked ham, cubed1 pkg Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix4 large carrots, diced2 16-oz bags fresh turnip greens1 tsp salt1 tsp black pepper1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp creole or cajun seasoning (optional)2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
Directions
In large stock pot, add chicken broth, water, onion, ham, seasonings, and vegetable soup mix. Bring to a boil; lower heat to medium and cook for 1 hour. Add carrots, cook for 3 hours more. Add turnip greens (roughly chopped) about 30 minutes before serving.
