Steve's Pinto Bean and Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 2 cups of pinto beans, cooked- 1 29oz can of diced tomatoes- water (about 1 cup)- salt, basil and oregano to taste- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar- 1 bay leaf
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients in 2-quart or larger pot.

2. Bring to a boil reduce to a simmer, and let cook an hour or so.

3. Remove bay leaf, puree in blender and return to pot to keep warm. Pass through mesh strainer first if you desire a smoother soup.

Serving Size: makes 10 servings, about 1/2 cup in size
