Easy Slow Cooker Steak Chili (recipe from 100 days of Real Food)

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds stew beef, cut in 2-inch chunks(grass fed recommended)1 tablespoon chili powder1 teaspoon cumin1 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon ground red (cayenne) pepper - add more if you like it hot!1/2 onion, diced1 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained and rinsed1 28-ounce can diced tomatoes, with juice* Optional toppings: grated cheese, sour cream, diced avocados and/or fresh cilantro
Directions
Put stew beef in bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Add onions, beans, and tomatoes.
With slow cooker on high cook for 5-6 hours. Top with garnishes of choice.
