Butternut Squash, 5 cup, cubes (remove)Butter, salted, 3 tbsp (remove)Chicken Broth or Bouillon, 6 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)*Raw White Onion (Serving = 1 medium Onion), 1 serving (remove)Nutmeg, ground, 2 tsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)Pepper, black, 1 tsp (remove)*Chipoltle Chiles in Adobo, 1 tbsp (remove)
Chop onion and Melt butter in lg. pot. saute' onions until tender. Peel and cut squash in 1 inch cubes. combine chicken broth and squash in lg pot. simmer about 40 min until squash is tender. Puree in blender or with wand. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
