Laurie's wild rice and chicken casserole

Ingredients
1 cup raw wild rice, rinsed and drained2 cups water1 tablespoon chicken bullion1/2 cup chopped onion1/4 cup chopped sweet peppers1 clove minced garlic1 can mushrooms3 chicken thighs - small pieces1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
Directions
Put wild rice in pan with water and bullion. Bring to boil and then simmer on low until rice is tender. Pour off any excess water.
In a separate pan fry chicken pieces, then add peppers, onion and garlic until cooked. Add to tender rice along with the mushrooms and toasted almonds. Heat through and serve.
