Becca's Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1/4 teaspoon baking soda1/4 teaspoon cinnamon1 egg1 cup mashed bananas (3 medium)3/4 cup sugar1/4 cup applesauce (actually calls for oil - I mad the substitution)1/4 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
Mash bananas in a medium bowl. Add egg, sugar, and applesauce - mix till blended. Add in baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon - stir. And in flour and stir till moistened (will be lumpy).

Place into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes (until toothpick or knife inserted in center comes clean). Cool before serving.

Makes 12 1-inch width pieces. Maybe more depending on the size of your loaf pan.
