Cauliflower Cheese Soup

1 medium cauliflower1/4 cup chopped onion4 tbsp butter1/4 cup flour3 cups chicken broth2 cups milk1 tsp worcestershire sauce4 oz American cheese, shredded (1 cup)
Steam cauliflower till tender, and coarsely chop. In large saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender but now brown. Blend in flour, add chicken broth, milk and worcestershire. Cook and stir till mixture thickens slightly; add cauliflower. Bring to boil and stir in cheese. Sprinkle each serving with snipped chives.
