Ingredients:1. Shortening, .25 cup2. Applesauce, unsweetened, .25 cup 3. Granulated Sugar, .5 cup 4. Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), .5 cup5. Molasses, .33 cup 6. Flour, whole grain, 1.75 cup7. Baking Soda, 1 tsp8. Salt, 1 tsp 9. Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp10. Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, 2 cup11. Walnuts, 1 cup pieces or chips 12, Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins), 1 cup
*Mix the first five ingredients (#1-5) together
thoroughly.
*Then in a sifter add the next four ingredients (#6-9).
*Sift into the first five ingredients and mix thoroughly.
*Add the last three ingredients and mix it all together.
Drop by 1 1/2 T scoops on to parchment paper covered cookie sheet. Baked for 10-11 minutes at 400 degrees.
Serving Size: This reecipe makes 32 cookies using a 1 1/2 Tablespoon scoop per cookie.
