Missy's Yummy Chili

Ingredients:1 small onion1 small green bell pepper1 LB ground beef1 garlic clove1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes (do not drain)1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce3 teaspoons chili powder1/2 teaspoon salt
Cut onions and peppers into small pcs.
Place ground beef, onions and peppers in a pot.
Either use a garlic press or chop the garlic into small pcs. Add to the pot.
Cook over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink (remember to break beef into small crumbles when cooking it).
Drain out the drippings (grease).
Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder & salt.
Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat to low.
Cover & simmer 30 minutes
If you wish, top with shredded cheese, nacho chips, or sour cream. Green onions are always great too. (these are not added into the nutrition info).
Makes 6 (1 cup size) servings.
