This was yummy! I wasn't sure about the cottage cheese, but it was very good! I used fat free cool whip and didn't taste any different. Carbs are pretty high though, will only make on special occasions or taking to a potluck-too tempting to have leftovers in the house.

I have made this receipe with variations - use frozen strawberry-mango-pineapple with sugar free jello it is great - also am making with frozen berries to see how that tastes - taken it to work & everyone loves it - passed out the receipe and people rave - 3/2/11

Not a fan of cottage cheese (it is a texture thing), so I put it in the food processor and made it creamy. Next time I'll have to process it longer because it was still a bit gritty. The flavor is AWESOME! It'll take the place of my morning yogurt sometimes. Thanks for sharing! - 1/10/10

Question--has anyone actually measured the amount this makes because I don't get anywhere near 12 1 cup servings--maybe (12) 1/2 cup servings. Is that a typo? Just wondering is I am doing something wrong. - 7/13/08

you don't make the jello - just use the powder. the cool whip absorbs the flavor of the jello. - 6/8/08

Someone please answer my question. Do you make the jello or just add the powder from the box to the recipe? The directions are not clear. Email LaNeita@aol.com - 4/14/08
