Ingredients
In a pan on medium heat, add:- 4 tbsp of Coconut oil (I used 2 tbsp of lard and 2 tbsp of coconut oil; counted the oils as coc oil). When oil is hot, add:- 100g onions; cook until translucent. Then add:- 115g of thawed frozen broccoli (go ahead and use fresh!). Let it cook for a couple and minutes and then add:- 84g Ham. Let it cook a bit and then add: - 31g Prosciutto. No need to salt. Put aside to cool.Once cooled, put the mixture into a baking plate (don't forget to grease the plate) that'll go into the oven; and add the following:- 6 eggs- 4 tbsp of 10% cream (next time I'll put 3 tbsp)- 90g cheddar cheese- Salt & Pepper. I forgot to put cumin powder in this recipe so go ahead if you wish.Mix with your hands...don't be shy.Bake in a small oven if you have one. Bake at 350F for about 50 min. The knife should come out clean when ready.Enjoy at any meal of the day. I had mine for breakfast with some butter and sauerkraut. Delicious :)The thing about a Ketogenic diet is that it's high in fat, moderate protein and very low in carbs. I had breakfast at 9 am. I was only starting to feel hungry at 2:30 pm, so I had 1 slice of my Keto Bacon & Cheese pizza while writing this. I'm so full. When you consume fat, it keeps you satisfied for hours. Your hunger drops and you eat less calories. Not only that; because it's low in carbs, it will not be stored in your fat cells. Bon appétit!Belle
