Ingredients
Directions
3 medium gala apples (or granny smith)1 Box of Pepperidge Farms Puff Pastry Dough (2 sheets)1/4 cup of Sugar1 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon1 Tsp of Ground Ginger1/4 Tsp of Ground Nutmeg
Set puff pastry out to thaw.
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
While dough is thawing, slice apples thinly or chop into small pieces. If the apple is too thick it won't cook all the way. Toss apples in a bowl with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Set aside.
Sprinkle flour over your counter top and gently unfold the thawed pastry dough, make sure to rub out the creases so it's smooth and flat. Cut each pastry sheet into four squares. Place a handful of the apple mixture into the middle of the pastry square and gently fold sides around the edges of the apples. Place the pastries on a greased pan and bake about 20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
