Death by Chocolate

2 Cups Oreos crushed1/2 cup melted butter2 cubes butter (room temp)8 eggs (room temp)28 oz semi-sweet chocolate divided1 Cup granulated sugar1 Tbs vanilla extract2 oz. Half and Half8 oz Heavy whipping cream
Mix together crushed oreos and melted butter, press in bottom of springform pan. Refrigerate overnight.
For filling: Melt choc-chips over med-low heat. Cool slightly. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and half & half. Add 20 oz. chocolate and mix well. While mixer is on high, add eggs one at a time until each is blended. Pour mixture into crust. Refrigerate covered at least 6 hours.
For topping: Stir together over medium heat 8 oz chocolate chips and 8 oz heavy cream. Cool slightly. Take sides off springform pan and set cake on wire rack with plastic wrap beneath. Pour mixture onto cake and refrigerate until set.
