Hamburger, Macaroni, and Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef1 cup chopped yellow onion1 clove garlic minced1/2 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped1 tsp oil if needed1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with juice6 cups beef stock or broth1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce1 tsp Worcestershire sauce1/2 tsp dried basil1 tsp saltFreshly ground pepper to taste1 cup uncooked macaroni1 can (15 oz) kidney beans
Directions
Combine meat, onion, garlic and bell pepper in a large dutch oven. Cook until vegetables are tender and meat is no longer pink. Break up meat with a spoon. Add other ingredients. Simmer uncovered stirring often for 15 to 20 minutes. Cover and keep warm over low heat until ready to serve.
