Slow-cooker Turkey Shepherd Pie

Ingredients
1 tbsp apple cider vinegarGround turkey, 93% lean, 24 oz1 leek, sliced3 medium carrots, sliced1 tbsp red or cayenne pepper5 cups prepared mashed potatoes1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Brown the ground turkey, sliced leeks, and pepper until turkey is browned and leeks have softened. Spoon into the bottom of the slow cooker; layer the sliced carrots evenly on top, then add the mashed potatoes. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle the cheese on top.
