King Ranch Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
1/4 c butter1 med. bell pepper, chopped1 med. onion, chopped1 can cream of mushroom1 can cream of chicken1 10-oz can rotel tomatoes2 cups shredded mexican cheese12 corn tortillas, torn in bite size pieces2 cups shredded cooked chicken
Directions
In a large saucepan, cook pepper and onion in butter until tender. Add soups, rotel and chicken; stir. In a 9x13 pyrex, layer tortillas, soup mixture, and cheese; repeat.
