Mel's Famous Clam Chowder

Ingredients
* Onions, raw, 1 cup, sliced * Milk, 1%, 3 cup * *Flour, white, 0.25 cup * Butter, unsalted, 0.25 cup * Chicken Broth, 1 cup (8 fl oz) * Halibut (fish), 0.5 fillet * *Clams, canned, meat only, 1 cup * Onions, raw, 1 tbsp chopped * Fresh Chives, 1 tbsp chopped
Directions
Melt 1/4 cup of butter but right before its completly melted start gradually adding the flour until most of the butter has mixed with the floud then gradually add milk and chicken broth with alternating in order to get a yummy white sauce then add one can of clams 0.5 fillet of halibut. Add onion bits or if prefered raw onions and fresh chives. simmer on stove andten ready to eat.
