Corn & Potato Chowder

Ingredients
1.5 cups frozen corn1.5 cups diced potatoes (peeled)2.5 cups chicken broth1/2 cup chopped onion3/4 cup diced carrot1 cup diced celery1/4 cup diced sweet red bell pepper8 slices canadian bacon- diced1 clove minced garlicsalt & pepper to taste1/2 cup fat free half & half1/4 cup shredded cheese(flour to thicken, if you like)
Directions
Add all ingredients, excpet half & half and cheese, to slow cooker. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Add half & half and cheese 30-60 min. before serving. Top with additional shedded cheese if desired.
