My French Onion soup

Ingredients
32 cups of sliced vidalia onions2 heads of garlic chopped32 cups of homemade beef broth1/4 olive oil or fat skimmed from top of broth1 can of beer
Directions
Melt fat
Add half of the onion and sauté and let caramelize
Add beer and broth and rest of onions
Simmer for 2 hours
