    2 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 tbsp. veg. oil
    2 cups milk
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 pinch salt


1. combine flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, oil, milk, and egg yolks
2. beat egg whites and salt until they stand, mix vanilla and fold into batter
3. pour 1/8 of mixture into waffle maker and cook 2 min.
4. repeat with left over
makes 8 servings

  • We do like waffles but prefer the small "pegged" versus the belgian openings. The waffle gets more soggy but with fresh fruits that helps. Haven't tried this recipe yet. - 10/16/17

  • Very good! My first one did stick pretty badly but just using a bit of spray on the iron fixed that up. I thought it had just the right amount of sweet. So happy to find this recipe. - 11/16/12
