Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 tbsp. veg. oil
    2 cups milk
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 pinch salt

Directions

1. combine flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, oil, milk, and egg yolks
2. beat egg whites and salt until they stand, mix vanilla and fold into batter
3. pour 1/8 of mixture into waffle maker and cook 2 min.
4. repeat with left over
makes 8 servings

  • Very good! My first one did stick pretty badly but just using a bit of spray on the iron fixed that up. I thought it had just the right amount of sweet. So happy to find this recipe. - 11/16/12

  • Not as sweet as I would expect with Belgian style waffles. Also tended to stick more than other recipes I have used. Overall definitely edible! - 4/21/11
