1 pound 93% lean ground beef1/2 onion, chopped3 cloves garlic2 - 16 oz cans black beans (drained)2 - 16 oz cans kidney beans (drained)1 - 16 oz can tomato sauce1 - 12 oz jar chili sauce1 - 10 oz jar sweet relish1 tablespoon chili powder1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute the onion and garlic until tender. Add the beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess liquid. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and simmer over medium - low heat for 30 to 45 minutes (the longer it cooks, the better it tastes). Serve topped with grated cheese and a little reduced fat sour cream (not included in the nutritional information).
