2 eggs2 sticks margarine (or butter)1 cup brown sugar1 cup granulated sugar1 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1 tsp vanilla2 cups vanilla2 cups flour1 cup chopped walnuts8 oz chocolate chips4 oz flaked coconuts2 1/2 cups oatmeal
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2 Mix ingredients in a large bowl, starting with softened margarine. Don’t ’over beat.’ Dough should be thick.
3 Place tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough on an ungreased cookie sheet.
4 Bake eight to ten minutes until they are light brown (for chewy, soft cookies).
5 Cool on cookie sheet for five minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
