Rice, white, long-grain, regular, raw, enriched, 1 cup Beans, pinto, 1 cupSofrito Sauce, 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce, .25 cupExtra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp Garlic, 2 clove Adobo -sin pimienta(1serving=1/4tspGoya Sazon con culantro y achiote (orange box), 1 serving Goya Hamon (1 envelope4 Spanish olivespinch of oregano
in rice pot (caldero) add olive oil, saute' sofrito, garlic
then add beans, tomatoe sauce, sazon, hamon, oregano, olives, adobo. simmer few mins then add cup of rice.
add water one inch above rice, stir.
let cook on high till liquid is absorbed. stir again and cover and lower flame to low. cook 20 mins or until done.
