Pork sausages with red cabbage

Ingredients
garlic- 3 cloves1/4 olive oil1 1/2 lbs red cabbage (cut into fine strips) approx. 8 cupssalt, pepper to taste1 lb. pork sausage
Directions
1. saute garlic in olive oil, add cabbage. Stir well to fully coat the cabbage. Add salt & pepper. Stir from time to time
2. Brown sausages & slice
3. When cabbage is done (approx 40 min -cabbage will reduce to half it's bulk & limp but not completely soft) add sausages. Continue cooking for 20 min. until cabbage is soft.
