1pkg Brautwurst (usually 5 links)2 14.4 oz cans of Saur Kraut (you can buy bagged if you like, the canned is just cheaper!)2 Granny Smith Apples, peeled and roughly chopped (I like to do mine in thin wedge shapes)2 Yellow Onions, peeled and cut into thin wedges Spicy brown mustard (if you like it) for toppingRolls or bread if you like as well - though it's not calculated in the caloric index as I usually just eat mine without
Toss everything other than the mustard in a crock pot and set to either low or high - whatever you have time for that day. Top with mustard and serve with beer! (we usually have cheap domestic beer like Miller or Bud)
Serving Size: Depends on how hungry you are! I usually have two links of sausage and the kraut which would make it 2.5 servings. But I calculated it for 5 so that people could have one or mores servings.
