Basic Lasagna

Ingredients
16 oz bulk sausage8 oz mozzarella 15 oz ricotta cheese2 eggs, beaten5-7 lasagna noodles1 large can crushed tomatoes with basil3/4 cup onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced2 tbsp Parmesan 1tsp oregano1 tsp parsley1/2 tsp salt1/8 tsp pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Brown sausage with onion. While sausage is browning, boil lasagna noodles according to directions on package. Drain any fat and add garlic. Add tomatoes and seasonings to sausage. Reduce heat to low and simmer until heated through. In a small mixing bowl, combine beaten egg and ricotta cheese. In an 8 x 8 baking dish, layer 3 lasagna noodles, trimming off excess, then ricotta mixture, then sausage mixture, and top with half of mozzarella. Repeat layers. Bake for 30 minutes. Top with Parmesan and let sit for 10 minutes. Cut and serve.
