spicy lentil vegetable soup

Ingredients
1 cup green lentils (soaked overnight or brought to a boil and then left covered for 1 hour before rinsing)2 slices of turkey bacon cut in tiny pieces and fried in pot with 2 tbsp of olive oil1 carton (900 ml) vegetable stock1 yellow onion minced1 celery stock sliced1 garlic clove minced1 carrot sliced1 medium white potato diced2 handfuls of kaletandoori spice to taste (2 tsp)tumeric (1/2 tspsage 1/8 tspthyme 1/8 tsp
Directions
Soak lentils overnight
add oil to large pot and fry bacon and then onion and garlic, add rest of ingredients and cover pot. Simmer for 2 hours
