Cheddar Bacon Quiche

Ingredients
Crust:1 1/4 cup organic, unbleached flour1/2 cup butter1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 cu boiling waterQuiche:5 eggs, beaten3/4 cu milk4 slices cooked, crumbled no nitrates bacon3/4 cup cheddar (or other cheese)dash - salt, pepper, garlic pwdr, onion pwdr, cayenne pepper(you may also add spinach and peppers, etc)
Directions
For Crust: Place butter in bowl and pour boiling water over it until mostly melted. Add in dry ingredients until mixed. Set aside to rest, may also be put in refrigerator. Roll out on lightly floured surface and put in pie plate.

For Quiche: Cook bacon (set aside - I cut into pieces before I cook) Whisk eggs and add milk and spices. Add in cheese, bacon and any additional ingredients. Pour into crust and bake at 400 for 30-40 min. until knife in center comes out clean and quiche has "puffed up" and slightly browned.
