"Baca's" Traditional Red Chili Sauce

• 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil• 2 garlic cloves, peeled & minced• 2 heaping Tbsp. flour• 1 - 28 oz. container BACA'S® Red Chile, thawed• 3 cups water• 2 tsp. salt• 1 tsp. ground orégano
1. Heat oil in saucepan over low heat.
2. Add minced garlic and flour. Stir until golden brown.
3. Stir in red chile, water and spices. Bring to a boil (at least 165° F.).
4. Cover and simmer over low heat for 20-30 minutes.
Makes approx. 44 oz.
