Armenian Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
rice, butter, spaghetti, chicken broth
Directions
Break spaghetti noodles into inch long pieces. Melt butter in saucepan and add spaghetti. Simmer till brown (keep an eye on it!). Turn off heat and add rice. Mix around to soak up excess butter. Boil chicken brother. Pour rice and spaghetti mixture into chicken broth. Simmer on low for 15 minutes. Remove from hear and let sit for 15 minutes.

    The dish is good, but be aware that the portion size is tiny. The recipe is figured on one cup cooked rice and half a cup of cooked pasta serving four. - 8/10/09
