Caprese pasta salad

Ingredients
3 cups rotini pasta (I use tricolor veggie)¼ cup pesto½ t. sea salt¼ t. cracked pepper½ t. minced or chipped garlic (fresh or dried)2 T. virgin olive oil (or less virginal, if that's all you have)2 pints pearlini mozzarella balls (the tiny ones), drained2 cups grape tomatoes (I mix red grape tomatoes and yellow cherry tomatoes for a colorful dish)
Directions
Cook the pasta to desired consistency. Mix the other ingredients in a large bowl. Drain the cooked pasta and toss with the bowl ingredients.
