Gorton (Pork Meat Spread)

Ingredients

4 lbs Ground Pork (with fat in it)2 Onions finely chopped4 cups of water1 teaspoon ground cloves3/4 teaspoon of ground nutmegsalt & pepper
Mix all the ingredients together minus the salt & pepper. Heat on high till the mixture begins to boil. Turn down the heat and cover. Let simmer for 2 hours. Check to make sure the water has not boiled off, if so add more. Salt & Pepper to taste.
Once completed put in the refridgerator overnight and let gel. The next day either remove the fat layer on top or stir it into the mixture for easier spreading.
Serving Size: Makes about 6 cups of spread
