CHICKEN POTPIE

Ingredients
SAUCE:8 Tablespoons butter8 Tablespoons flour1 teaspoon salt½ teaspoon pepper 1 cup non-fat milk2 cups chicken brothFILLING:2 1/4 cup chicken (cubed)½ cup carrots½ cup peasCRUST:4 cups of flour1 1/3 cup of Crisco1 ½ teaspoon salt7 - 8 Tablespoons of milk
Directions
Stir sauce until slightly thickened, add to filling and put in your pie shell. I used an oblong glass pan. For your crust you might want to add more milk, if crust is too dry and not sticking together. Be sure not to add too much at once, jus a little at a time.
Bake at 375° F. for 30 minutes. Baste with milk and pats of butter.
