0.66 stick Butter, salted 3 fl oz Heavy Whipping Cream 0.50 tsp Thyme, ground 7 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth 0.50 cup White Rice, medium grain 1 cup Onion 1 tbsp Garlic 1 serving Chicken Andoulle Sausage 0.50 tsp Penzeys Spiices, Berbere .5 tsp Salt 1 dash CLICK HERE TO SEE FOOD SEARCH RESULTS
Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add broth, squash, and spices and simmer until the squash is soft – about half hour. Purée soup in batches and return to kettle. Add rice and one sausage chopped up and cook until the rice is done. Add in the cream, stir, and serve.
