Herbed Broccoli & Cauliflower

Ingredients
1 cup broccoli, cut1 cup cauliflower, cut1/4 teaspoon extra virgin olive oilpinch of Italian type herbs such as basil, oregano, marjoram, rosemary---or use a blend
Directions
cut up broccolli and cauliflower and place in your steamer.**
measure extra virgin olive oil and brush onto your veggies-try to get a little on most pieces, if not all.
add a pinch of your herb(s) selected
steam veggies for approx. 10 minutes. [don't over cook]

this is a great side dish, or a steamed veggie plate for a light lunch.


** [if you don't have a steamer, you can make do with a colander placed in a bigger pan with an inch of water in the bottom of the pan]
