turkey chili
- Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
Directions
saute onion in olive oil, add turkey and garlic. I like a lot of garlic, so depending on your taste, add as much or as little as you like. When the turkey is cooked, add diced tomatoes, black beans ( I sometimes add two cans) chili powder, ground red pepper and/or red pepper flakes to taste. (You can't really mess this recipe up) If you would like a thicker sauce, you can add a can of tomato paste. Cover and cook approximately 1/2 hour. serve with Baked tortilla chips and add a sprinkle of lowfat cheese if you'd like.
