1 lb firm or extra firm tofu2 tbsp Dijon mustard2 tbsp tomato paste2 tbsp Bragg Liquid Soy Seasoning1 large clove garlic, peeled and put through press2 tsp blackstrap molasses2 tsp sesame oil1/4 tsp cayenne pepperFreshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
Wrap tofu in a clean, absorbent kitchen towel and place something heavy (at least 1 lb) on top. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside. Place oven rack about 5 inches from broiler and turn it on.

In a shallow bowl, mix all ingredients except tofu. Unwrap tofu and cut into 10 pieces. Dip slices into the sauce, coating both sides well, and arrange them on the baking sheet as you go - reserve any extra sauce.

Broil the tofu for 4 to 6 minutes, until flecked with dark spots. Turn it over and slather with remaining sauce. Broil for another 4 to 6 minutes.

Makes 10 pieces.

I had this as a sandwich with onion and lettuce. It was good and filling. Not the flavor of BBQ I'm used to, but I still liked it and will make it again :) Thanks! - 1/22/13
