braised cabbage with turkey sausages

Ingredients
Ingredients: Cabbage, fresh, 1.5 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia) (remove)Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)Apples, fresh, 2 small (2-1/2" dia) (approx 4 per lb (remove)Chicken Broth, 2 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)Cider Vinegar, .5 cup (remove)Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp (remove)honeysuckle white, lean turkey italian sausage, 4 serving (remove)*Honeysuckle White Turkey Bratwurst, 4 serving (remove)
Directions
in dutch ovensliced onions in olive oil, add cinnamon stick and bay leaves and 1 tsp salt cook till onions are just tender. add shredded cabbage, cook till wilted add apples and broth and vinegar and remaining ingredients. lightly brown sausages in another pan, partially cooking them. add to cabbage mixture cover stir occasionally. for 1 hour.

remove lid and let liquid reduce to sauce lkike consistency.
