Vegan Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Bars

Ingredients
1 tsp vanilla extract1/4 cup almond butter1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats2 servings vegan protein powder (about 120-130 calories and 20-22 G protein per serving)4 tbsp ground flax seed meal 4 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips (or dark)1/2 cup unsweetened almond milkSalt to taste
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together using your hands, adding little splashes of water to combine well. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper, and press mixture into pan. Put pan in freezer and allow to freeze for an hour to overnight. Cut into 8 bars, wrap individually in plastic wrap, and store in freezer. You can take them out and they will thaw in a few minutes to eat.
