Ingredients
3 cup Beans, pinto 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw chopped8 clove Garlic chopped2 serving Epazote - 1 sprig (USDA) (by TRILLIANTOO) 3 serving Bacon - Oscar Meyer (2 slices) cut up into small peices8 oz Chorizo, pork and beef 4 serving Tomatoes, Roma, Fresh, 1 Med chopped up3 pepper Peppers, hot chili, red, fresh serrano chillis are the best.
Directions
cook pinto beans with 1/2 of the garlic and 1 one onion chopped.
in lg pan put chorizo and bacon in and cook til some of the fat is rendered. add the other half of the onion and tomatoes along with the chilli seranos. add 1/4 tsp of cumin 1/4 tsp. of oregano and epazote. add cooked beans and bring to a boil for about 20 monutes
