split pea soup with batata and bacon

Ingredients
1 dash Salt 15 Garlic 36 Onions, raw 6 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 serving Frozen Mixed Pepper Strips 3 oz slab bacon 0.25 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend 0.25 tsp Old Bay Seasoning 140 gram(s) Batata 1.0 cup Goya Green Split Peas, dried
Directions
Wash and add water to peas, chop garlic and onion, add them to pot ,bring to a boil then cooking cooking on medium for at leat 30 mins. cook the bacon drain excess fat on paper towels,cut batata in 1inch squares,add those with all remaining ingredient, continue cooking on med to low heat until it done, stirring occasionally.
