Ingredients
1 tbsp. Olive Oil, Extra Virgin 1 cup Onion, chopped2 tsp. Garlic, minced 2- 28 oz. cans Crushed Tomatoes (no salt added) 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (can be omitted)1 tsp. Black Pepper, ground1 tsp. Basil, dried1 tsp. Parsley, dried1/2 tsp. Thyme, ground or dried1/2 tsp. Oregano, dried
Directions
1. In a large sauce pan over medium heat, add olive oil. Once olive oil hot, add onions and saute them for about 5-7 min or until they start to turn slightly translucent, then add your garlic and saute for another 3 min making sure not to brown the garlic.
2. Pour in crushed tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and the rest of the seasonings. Keep heat on medium, cover, and let simmer for about 45 min.
