1.5 lb Beef, round steak 1.5 cup Bean sprouts 2 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 0.5 cup slices Water chestnuts 822 grams Canned Tomatoes 4 tbsp Soy sauce (tamari) .5 tsp Granulated Sugar 1 clove Garlic 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 tbsp Argo Cornstarch
Prep: Mince garlic, slice peppers, slice beef in thin strips. Drain and rinse bean sprouts and sliced water chestnuts.
Heat oil in pan & add garlic & pepper. Add beef, cook until brown on all sides. Add tamari & sugar. Cover, cook on high for 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts, water chestnuts, tomatoes & green pepper. Cover & cook 5 min. Thicken with cornstarch. Serve over rice.
