1 1tsp Olive Oil 1.75 cup Simple Truth Organic Black Beans 1.75 cup Kroger petite diced tomatoes .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 clove Garlic 2 tsp Garlic powder 1 serving Basil 3 tsp Parsley 6 sprout Brussels sprouts, cooked 4 oz Boar's Head Sweet Slice Boneless Smoked Ham (by CHRISTYWALL76) 2 serving Water Cook chopped onions and garlic in oil until almost clear. Add ham to gently brown. Add cans of beans & tomatoes plus all liquids. Add one can of water for each can of food used. Add spices. Bring to boil, stir and reduce the heat to simmer. Cook liquids down. Stir to keep from sticking. When velvety, cook brown rice or quinoa as side dish. When done, put one serving of side in the bowl and 1 1/2 cup of soup over it.
Cook over low heat, stirring often. Liquid will cook down to make a rich velvety gravy. Ham is very salty. Don't add any salt until you put this over rice. It may need a touch then.
