1.5 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched 0.75 cup Yellow Cornmeal 0.25 cup Granulated Sugar 2 tsp Baking Powder 0.5 tsp Salt 1 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk) 4 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil 1 serving egg beaten (by SMILES4383)
1. Heat Oven to 400F. Grease two standard 12-hole muffins pans.
2. Combine dry ingredients.
3. Stir in milk, oil, and egg, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened.
4. Pour batter in the pans.
5. Back for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
