Donnas Granola

Ingredients
2-1/2 C. "quick" oatmeali/2 C. brown sugar1/2 C. sunflower kernals (and/or chopped nuts)1/4 C. wheat germ1/3 C. butter or margerin1/3 C. honey1 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. vanilla extractraisins or dried cherries - optional
Directions
Mix together all dry ingredients in bowl. Melt butter. Add to mixture. Add rest of ingredients and stir to moisten oats. Mixture will be fairly dry and crumbly.

Put mixture in lightly greased 9"x 12" pan.
Bake at 350 deg. for 30 minutes.

Transfer to jelly-roll type cookie sheet and let cool. Put into large container and refrigerate.
