Fresh Asparagus Soup

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb, about 4 c Asparagus, fresh, cut into 1 inch pieces1/4 c Butter, salted,1 C Onions, chopped 1/4 c Flour4 c Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 1/4 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, or to taste
Directions
makes five 1-cup servings

melt butter; add onion and cook til tender but not browned, stir in asparagus, cover and cook 5 min, stir in flour. Turn heat to high, slowly stir in chicken broth, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, partially covered until the cauliflower is tender (about 20-25 min). Use food processor and process 1 cup at a time until smooth - be careful not to overfill the processor. return soup to pot and keep warm until served.
