Slow Cooker Carolina Pulled Pork

Ingredients
6 lb Pork, fresh, composite of trimmed retail cuts (leg, loin, shoulder, and spareribs), separable lean and fat 1.75 cup Cider Vinegar 4 tbsp Encore, Woodland Hickory smoke liquid flavour (1 tbsp=15ml) (by CADMENTR) .5 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar 3 tsp Texas Pete Chili Sauce 4 tsp crushed red chili pepper flakes (by DBEAU57)
Directions
Put a 5-6 lb pork shoulder into a crock pot/slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 3/4 c Apple Cider Vinegar and 1/4 c liquid smoke. Cook on low for 10 hours. Remove the pork shoulder and shred with 2 forks. Add meat back to slow cooker, add 1/2 c, loosely packed brown sugar, about 20-25 shakes of Texas Pete, and between 2-4 tsp of red pepper flakes to the meat. Stir until combined. Taste a bite for a flavor check and add more hot sauce or red pepper flakes as required. Cook on low for another hour or until time to serve.
