Ingredients
Directions
1 gallon cool water.4 cold brew tea bags.4 regular sized green tea bags.1 cup splenda.1/2 cup sugar.1 packet fruit drink mix of your choice (like kool-aid). Some of my favorites are STRAWBERRY, raspberry, mixed berry, cherry, and fruit punch.
Brew tea in gallon pitcher until as strong as you want it (I brew mine for about 1 1/2- 2 hrs). Remove and discard tea bags. Add sweeteners and fruit drink mix. Stir well, until all sugar is dissolved.
Chill for at least one hour and ENJOY!
Add fresh berries to your glass, if desired (calories not accounted for). Makes a lovely presentation for a picnic or lunch if served in a glass pitcher with fresh berries mixed in.
*note* Yes, I know you could make this drink with "real" fruit juice for the nutritional boost, but "real" fruit juice adds "real" extra calories... I chose to brew green tea for the extra antioxidants and 0 extra calories instead of using real fruit juice. The drink mix packet is for flavor only.
Makes 8 2 cup servings.
