Ingredients
* 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and DRAINED* 3/4 cup warm water* 1.5 tablespoons honey (or molasses, but nutritionals are figured with honey)* 1.5 tablespoons nonfat margerine spread* 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar* 1.5 teaspoons salt* 1 cup rye flour* 2 cups bread flour* 1.5 teaspoons bread machine yeast
Directions
Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select basic bread cycle, 1.5 pound loaf. A thinner slice should easily yield 12 servings, but nutrition information is calculated based on a slightly thicker slice.

    This bread has lots of flavor and good texture. I used homemade sauerkraut which is maybe why I had to add a little more flour to make a nice dough. Will be a regular addition to my bread baking rotation. - 1/24/18

    This is good...I will make it again. Nice shaped loaf with great flavor although I will cut down on the brown sugar a little. - 10/8/11
